It is with both excitement and a heavy heart that I am writing to let you know that I will be leaving Baylor Scott & White and the Austin River Place Clinic to transition my medical practice to Ascension Medical Group in Westlake.

While the website may describe this location primarily as an “Express Care” clinic with extended hours, the facility also includes primary care and specialty physicians who see patients there. I will continue to provide care as a Family Medicine/Primary Care doctor at my new location.

 

My last day at BSW Austin River Place will be Friday, December 11, 2026. I will be taking a few weeks away from practice during the transition and plan to begin seeing patients of all ages at my new location on January 18, 2027. Around the time of the transition, it may be difficult to schedule appointments with me at my new location. I encourage you to contact the new clinic closer to my start date for updates regarding when appointments and online scheduling will become available.

 

I have greatly enjoyed my time with Baylor Scott & White Health and remain grateful for the opportunity to care for so many wonderful patients and families. While this change is being made to better align with my professional and personal goals, I have absolutely no reservations about recommending the physicians and advanced practice providers who will remain at the Austin River Place Clinic. Dr. Charles Conselman, MD; Hayley Peters, FNP-C; and Hannah Pavel, PA-C are excellent providers whom I personally selected and brought to this clinic, and I am confident they will continue to provide you and your family with excellent care should you choose to remain at River Place.

 

Most importantly, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your healthcare and, in many cases, the healthcare of your family members. It has been an absolute privilege to care for you and to work alongside the wonderful staff at Austin River Place.

 

I hope our paths cross again in the future. Wherever your healthcare journey takes you, I wish you and your family continued health and happiness.
